Overwatch Helper is a local desktop agent used by the Overwatch incident-resolution browser extension. Chrome starts it on demand through Native Messaging, and it executes allowlisted diagnostic commands before returning their output to the extension. It supports the platform’s approved-command workflow and can detect local infrastructure tools and environment settings.
