Planner is a GNOME project management application based on the work breakdown structure. It shows the project schedule as a Gantt chart and lets users break a project into tasks with estimated cost and effort. Resources can be assigned to tasks, and the tool detects assignment conflicts so the schedule can be rearranged. Projects are stored in XML files and can be printed to PDF or exported to HTML.
